Description

Daisies in the Wind is painted as a mixed media using acrylics for the base and finish it in oils. The dimensions are 14 by 11 by .75 inches on a stretched canvas.  I used both realistic and impressionistic techniques to show the wildflowers in light and shadows.  There is a mixture of colors in the painting with blended violet and purple for the flowers and natural blends for the stems and grassy effects.

As I painted the wildflowers being blown by a gentle breeze, I also could see them reaching for the sun! Enjoyed the work, hope you will like it too!
