When I saw this unique vintage frame I just had to buy it.  Wasn’t sure what I would do with it, but, it was marked Made in America and those are hard to come by.  Anyway, this repurposed frame measures about 9 X 7 inches and has a depth of about 2 inches.

For the background I used a canvas sheet on a board, painted with muted greens and tans and has a slight spray of glitter on top.  The beautiful vintage oval cameo appears to be hand painted and on ceramic.  The reason I say that is when I held it up to the light I could almost see through it.  At any rate, it is a beautiful piece!  A section of a vintage necklace with beads surrounds the base of the cameo.
