“Texas, Our Texas”, I love that song and it is our Texas state anthem!

This is #3 State of Texas in a bold wood frame made by my husband and measures 12 X 12 inches.  The frame is painted a  gold color.   I cut out a shape of Texas from a half inch board and painted it red.  I then attached the Texas shape to the backboard which is covered with a section of canvas with a light glitter spray.  This allows all the unique repurposed jewelry pieces, some new some vintage, to really show their Bling!

Some of the pieces to look for include: Roadrunner, Yellow Rose, Longhorn and of course the Houston Texas belt buckle.  The pin in the shape of Texas with the city name of West Columbia is used because it was the site of the first established Capital of the Republic of Texas.
