Description

This beautiful great white egret posed for me to take some awesome pictures to paint from. The egret was picking it’s way through the debris which I replaced with logs and sandbars. The water reflections on the water mirroring the trees in the background and the shadows was a challenge to paint. I enjoy painting wildlife in their natural habitat. The original oil painting was done on a 24 inch by 18 inch gallery wrap canvas ready to hang out of the box. The painting is mounted in a wood floater frame made in our shop.  The frame is finished in a dark metallic gold as seen in the additional picture taken in natural light.
