My Mandolin is an original acrylic painting on a 24 x 12 x 1.25 inch gallery wrap canvas with edges painted.  My Mandolin is the second in a series of three string instruments I painted.  I purchased the mandolin when I was a young sailor visiting the island of Malta and I still have it today.  I enjoyed the work on the painting as much as playing it.  I like to paint subjects that inspire memories and bring joy.
