Description

This offering is for prints on luster paper of the Sleepy Little Bird At Oyster Lake original Painting by Jimmie Bartlett. The painting is about a small wading bird that has its eyes closed standing on one leg in the shallows at Oyster Lake outlet to Palacios Bay in the Texas Coastal Bend. It was a bright winter day and that’s probably why the bird was squinting or sleeping and I got close enough to take a picture to paint from. The water was clear and flowing gently out of the lake which added more movement to the scene. I used both brush and palette knife techniques. I enjoyed the work and hope you like the results.

Our prints are run by Jimmie on a fine art printer using high quality inks and papers or canvas.  Your print/s will be shipped in a protective package or tube.
