Texas Flag with Come And Get It Canon Handmade Hand painted Sign
This listing is for a completely handmade hand painted decorative art sign. The art work has a rustic appearance for emphasis of aging. Our process starts in the wood shop to cut and sand the cabinet grade 1/2 inch thick birch plywood and then each are painted in our studio using brushes and acrylic paints. The lettering is also done by hand. (My signs are not done with silk screen or computer generated reproduction equipment). A protective clear gloss sealer is sprayed on the finished sign. The signs when completed are about 7 inch high, 16 inches long, and 1/2 inch thick. Two wall hangers are attached to the top of the sign. Also, the sign in our ad is typical as I paint each when ordered. Sign colors may vary slightly from the pictures due to differences in computers and/or monitors.
The Come and Take It Canon sign is about the canon in Gonzalas, Texas that Santa Anna’s army tried to capture from the Texans during the war for Texas Independence.
