Description

Matagorda Sunset is an original acrylic painting on a 14 inch by 18 inch by .75 inch stretched canvas.

The painting was derived from a photo I took during day light several years ago.  I decided to paint it in a colorful sunset with some embellishments.  A fisherman is fishing on the shore while a shrimp boat passes by.  The river had a calm current lit up by the brilliant sunset. This part of the river is always a good place to see the pelicans and birds following shrimp boats!

I enjoyed the work and I hope you like it also!  The Matagorda Sunset is a bright and colorful painting with movement which will look great in your home or business!  The edges are painted black and the painting can be hung out of the box.
