Description

Carolyn and I was at Matagorda Beach a couple of weeks ago and I was lucky enough to take a picture of this Great Blue Heron standing on a high dune that was covered in wild flowers. I knew I would paint this grand bird at that time. The acrylic painting is on a 24 inch by 18 inch canvas.  The painting is mounted in a wood floater frame made in our shop.  The frame is finished in a dark metallic gold as seen in the additional picture taken in natural light.
